 Clay Street Hill Dummy and Car CLAY STREET HILL RAILROAD operated the 1st cable car company in the world. This type of car was first used on a trail run on August 2, 1873 and put into revenue service September 1st of that same year. The company remained independent until it sold to the Ferries and Cliff House Railway on September 8, 1888. The Clay Street line discontinued operation on September 9, 1891. $7.99 |
